I explore the intricate relationship between climate action and natural resource governance. My research examines green space governance in informal settlements, drawing on firsthand experience across Kenya, Germany, and East Africa to bridge global perspectives on environmental policy and urban development.
My journey in environmental research and policy spans continents and cultures. As a PhD candidate at the University of Bonn’s Center for Development Research (ZEF), I combine academic rigor with practical experience to address pressing environmental and developmental challenges. My background in international studies, environmental policy, and public relations provides a unique perspective on global environmental issues.

What I Offer
Consultancy Services:
Baseline Studies & Scoping Studies
Experience conducting baseline studies on reproductive health for Kenyan youth and scoping studies on women’s economic empowerment with organizations like the United States International University, the World Bank, and Oxfam International.
Project Management:
Extensive project management experience includes overseeing programs on plastics pollution governance, managing stakeholders, developing monitoring tools, and leading international collaborations. Major roles include my work at the Center for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy and the Institute for Law and Environmental Governance.
Training & Facilitation:
Skilled in leading virtual and in-person workshops, I have facilitated events for Environmental Incentives (USA) and IGAD, focusing on knowledge management policy, youth and land governance strategies.
Policy Analysis:
I offer in-depth policy analysis on environmental governance issues such as climate action, sustainable urban development, and gender rights in land access. Projects include work on land policy, plastics governance, and climate resilience across several East African countries.
